Sales Development Representative (Remote)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Representative for a fintech company that is redefining financial training and hiring with their cutting-edge Financial Services Simulator. In this role, you will take full ownership of all sales related activities of the business. You will be instrumental in building the customer base by proactively reaching out to potential clients and qualifying leads for the sales team. This job is 100% what you make of it - coming in this early will be the closest thing to starting your own business without actually doing so.
What You'll Be Doing:
- 360 Sales: Oversee for the entire sales cycle with a focus on the ground work, such as sending emails to prospects.
- Lead Generation Mastery: Take responsibility for generating high-quality leads through strategic prospecting, effective cold outreach (primarily email), and networking activities.
- Initial Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients (financial institutions and business schools) to understand their needs and introduce the value proposition of our Financial Services Simulator.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and effectively transition them to the sales team for further engagement and deal closure.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and lead status within our CRM system.
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to identify new potential leads, target industries, and emerging opportunities.
- Content Support: Assist in creating compelling pitch documents and email templates to enhance outreach effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and provide valuable insights to optimize the lead generation and qualification process.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of proven experience in a sales or lead generation role, ideally with a focus on outbound activities.
- Trained in outbound selling techniques, preferably with experience in tech services or SaaS products.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and concisely.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Entrepreneurial drive to build something new.
- Experience using CRM systems to track activities and manage leads.
- Basic understanding of the Financial Services industry is preferred.

- Starting salary: $1000+ (flexible depending on experience and background)
- 10% commission for deals that you close.
