QA Engineer - Frontend (Remote)
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer specializing in frontend testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge Vue and React web applications. You will be instrumental in safeguarding the user experience through comprehensive manual testing and, critically, by taking ownership of building and maintaining our automated end-to-end (E2E) and integration test suites using Playwright, alongside component/unit tests with Vitest.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Test Case Management: Design, create, execute, and diligently maintain both manual and automated test cases to cover various aspects of our frontend applications.
- Manual Testing Expertise: Perform thorough functional, UI/UX, cross-browser compatibility, and regression testing to identify potential issues.
- Playwright Automation Lead: Take primary responsibility for developing and maintaining robust automated end-to-end (E2E) and integration test suites using Playwright.
- Vitest Automation: Develop and maintain efficient automated component and unit tests using Vitest (or similar frameworks).
- Bug Management: Accurately identify, thoroughly document, and effectively track software defects using tools like Github Issues.
- Debugging & Test Creation: Proficiently utilize browser developer tools for in-depth debugging and to aid in the efficient creation of automated tests.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively and proactively with the development team to foster a culture of quality and contribute to improved testing strategies.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of dedicated experience in web application Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining frontend test automation suites.
- Strong and demonstrable proficiency with the Playwright test automation framework is a mandatory requirement.
- Required experience with Vitest (or Jest) for implementing effective component and unit tests.
- Strong proficiency in the TypeScript programming language is essential.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, browser developer tools, and experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience working with Git for version control.
