We’re looking for tax advisors for a UK tax advisory firm that supports owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and their families with bespoke tax solutions. Known for their friendly and forward-thinking approach, they pride themselves on offering tailored, high-quality advice across a wide range of tax matters.

As the firm continues to grow, the client is looking to build a network of UK Tax Professionals to support a variety of potential roles, depending on the candidate's expertise. These roles are well-suited to proactive, qualified professionals who are comfortable working independently and have a strong background in UK tax advisory and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on your area of expertise but may include:

• Providing tax advisory services to clients in areas such as corporate tax, income tax, inheritance tax, and stamp duty land tax
• Managing compliance and advisory work for individuals and companies
• Preparing and reviewing tax calculations and reports
• Supporting complex tax planning projects
• Staying up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and advising clients accordingly
   

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Tax-qualified, ideally with the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) designation (or currently pursuing it)
• Alternatively, a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with significant tax experience
• Alternatively, a STEP qualification (Trust and Estate Practitioner) is a plus, particularly for candidates focused on inheritance tax, estates, or trusts
• Solid experience in UK tax, with at least one of the following:
   
  • Corporate Tax
  • Personal/Income Tax
  • Inheritance Tax
  • Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
     
• Preference for candidates with tax advisory experience (not just compliance), as much of the firm's work is advice-led
• Able to work remotely and independently, with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and a client-first approach
