Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FO) Integration Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance Operations (FO) Integration Architect with 12 years of enterprise experience, specializing in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations across ERP ecosystems. This senior role will be responsible for designing and implementing integration strategies between D365 FO and various internal and external systems including legacy platforms, third-party applications, and cloud services. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with strategic thinking to drive successful ERP transformation initiatives.

Monthly Starting Salary: open, depending on level of experience

What You’ll Do:

Design and lead the integration architecture for Dynamics 365 FO, ensuring seamless connectivity with surrounding enterprise systems.
Define, develop, and implement integration solutions using tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, Custom Services, Dual Write, Power Platform, and Azure Service Bus.
Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
Lead integration design reviews, governance processes, and compliance efforts related to security, data privacy, and auditability.
Define and enforce best practices in data mapping, error handling, exception management, and performance optimization.
Oversee data migration and synchronization strategies between Dynamics 365 FO and legacy systems during implementation or upgrade projects.
Partner with enterprise architects to align integration strategies with long-term technology roadmaps.
Troubleshoot complex integration issues, support go-live cutovers, and provide post- deployment support.
Mentor junior architects, developers, and cross-functional teams on integration architecture standards and practices.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

12+ years of total experience in enterprise IT, with at least 5 years in Dynamics 365 FO or AX integration architecture roles.
Expert-level knowledge of Dynamics 365 FO integration frameworks including Batch Framework, Recurring Integration, DMF, and Dual-write.
Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Event Grid).
Strong understanding of ERP data structures, financial processes, supply chain workflows, and business logic.
Proven experience integrating with systems like CRM (D365 CE), Salesforce and 3rd-party APIs.
Proficient in RESTful APIs, XML/JSON formats, and authentication protocols (OAuth, AAD, SAML).
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred:

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance + Operations Solution Architect Expert or equivalent.
Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of EDI, ISV connectors, and integration middleware like LogicApps
Familiarity with enterprise data modeling, governance, and master data management (MDM) principles.
