Technical Recruitment Assistant

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Recruitment Assistant to support one of our clients in high-volume hiring for technical roles. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record managing pipelines for roles like Data Engineering, DevOps, and Software Engineers at scale, this is your opportunity to ensure efficient screening and coordination for a global tech client.

Full Time: 40 hours per week
Remote: Fully remote, Flexible working hours with overlap with Eastern Time (PH-based candidates preferred)
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor
Monthly Rate: $1100-1300 (based on a 40-hour workweek; flexible depending on experience) 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Review and shortlist candidates from vast inbound application pools, meticulously matching profiles to job descriptions and highlighting key fit criteria.
  • Conduct structured phone or video screening calls (15–30 min) to assess communication skills, motivation, and basic technical alignment. You'll prepare structured screening notes and final recommendations.
  • Maintain rigorous candidate status tracking in the Ashby ATS, schedule interviews, send follow-up messages, and ensure a consistently strong candidate experience.
  • Provide weekly pipeline summaries and candidate recommendations. You'll coordinate feedback collection and next steps directly with multiple hiring managers.

Who You Are:

  • You have 3+ years in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, or sourcing support, ideally within a large tech company or a recruitment vendor servicing global tech clients.
  • Well-versed with Ashby ATS (required)
  • Experience handling technical roles such as Software Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers.
  • Strong background/understanding to properly pre-qualify basic technical skills (e.g., front-end vs. back-end, cloud tools, frameworks).
  • Strong ability to automate and use AI/tools to work efficiently at scale.
  • A polished communicator able to professionally represent the client’s brand to candidates. You understand the urgency and confidentiality of high-level tech recruitment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, responsive, and possesses an ownership mindset.
