We are seeking an experienced and talented video editor for an Australian full-service video production company. In this role, you will be responsible for editing a variety of video content for our clients, including corporate videos, social media videos, promotional videos, and TV commercials. If you have a passion for video editing and understand the nuances of editing for the Australian market, we’d love to hear from you!
Part time (60-hours a month) which can transition to full-time
Remote, independent contractor role, Philippine working hours
Monthly Starting Salary: $420
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video footage to create cohesive, compelling narratives that effectively communicate the client's messaging
- Select the strongest shots and footage to use in the final videos
- Perform color grading, visual effects, motion graphics, and other post-production tasks
- Collaborate with the client to incorporate their feedback and revisions
- Ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail in all deliverables
- Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Stay up-to-date on the latest video editing techniques, including the use of AI tools
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of professional video editing experience, with some experience in the Australian market.
- Excellent storytelling and video composition skills
- Strong technical skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing software
- Experience working with 4K video files and managing large media assets
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools and techniques (plus)
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
