We are seeking an AI Agent & Automation Specialist to join our team in a role critical to our digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated automation workflows, integrating AI-driven solutions, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our global departments.

Part-time: 20 hours per week (can grow to more hours)
Remote: Fully remote, CET working hours
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor
Monthly Rate: $800-1100 (based on a 20-hour workweek; flexible depending on experience)

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain advanced AI automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
  • Connect systems and databases via REST APIs, webhooks, and custom connections.
  • Apply AI technologies (LLMs, AI agents) to automate business processes (e.g., Customer Support agents, R&D feedback loops).
  • Translate complex business requirements into reliable, structured, and fully documented workflows.
  • Manage the transition from MVP builds to robust, production-ready solutions that align with global HQ standards.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and continuously improve existing automation pipelines for efficiency and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in AI automation, technical integration, or a similar role.
  • Proven hands-on experience building workflows and AI agents specifically using n8n and comparable platforms like Make.com.
  • Experience building AI chatbots, including setting up and optimizing RAG-based knowledge bases for accurate performance.
  • Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, and databases.
  • Deep familiarity with LLMs and the practicalities of integrating them into business workflows.
  • Ability to document processes clearly so they can be managed and scaled across global teams.
  • Clear English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor).
  • Basic coding knowledge (Node.js, JavaScript, or PHP).
  • Experience working with local or self-hosted components.
