Our client is a well-established mortgage advisory and processing business based in Auckland, New Zealand. They help individuals and families secure the right home loans through expert advice and tailored solutions. As their business grows, they’re looking to bring on a reliable remote professional who can support their loan processing and client engagement workflows.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, confident communicator with proven experience in the Australian or New Zealand mortgage industry. This role blends loan processing, client relationship management, and administrative coordination.

You’ll be responsible for following up with clients to collect required documentation, initiate and manage loan applications, and ensure files are complete and ready for bank submission. Most communication will be via phone, so confidence, clarity, and warmth in verbal communication are critical.

Full Time: Remote (Auckland, NZ time zone)
Independent Contractor
Monthly Compensation: $960-1,280 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct follow-up calls with clients to collect application details and required documents.
  • Guide clients through the loan process, answering basic questions and providing updates.
  • Ensure all client information is accurately entered into systems and documentation is complete.
  • Liaise with mortgage advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders to move applications forward.
  • Proactively flag missing information or potential issues in applications.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships through clear and professional communication.
  • Manage CRM entries, email correspondence, file organization, and scheduling support.
  • Likely in the future) Handle follow-up calls to leads generated via marketing campaigns (more poaching).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in AUS/NZ loan processing, mortgage broking support, or a similar role within the AUS/NZ real estate or financial services industry.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills — must be confident and natural on the phone (not sales but relationship-based).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills — nothing should slip through the cracks.
  • Comfortable managing multiple client files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with mortgage workflows and client expectations in AUS/NZ markets.
  • Tech-savvy and capable of learning new systems quickly (Trail CRM or similar experience is a plus).
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work standard NZ business hours remotely
